I’m Preethi Jones and owner of Sweetwater Studio.From the joy of expecting a baby, to the wonder of new life, to the love shared between couples and families—I specialize in capturing every season of your story. A minimalist by nature, I find my joy in—faith, family, people—and the power of a single image to hold memories ,how they allow us to relive the emotions, laughter, and love of moments that pass far too quickly.

Originally from India, I now live in the beautiful Bay Area California with my college sweetheart (now husband), our kids, and our labradoodle. I’m a full-time mom, and my outdoor sessions are often like family outings—my crew joining me while I capture others in golden light and natural surroundings. When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll likely find me cooking, baking, hosting, shopping, or exploring the outdoors.

We had such a great experience with Preethi during our baby’s newborn photo shoot! As new parents, we were a little nervous about how the session would go, but Preethi made everything super easy and stress-free. She was so gentle and patient with our baby, and managed to keep him calm through all the poses and outfit changes. Preethi’s creativity really stood out—she brought along some adorable props and helped us pick cute, natural setups that looked amazing in photos. It didn’t feel rushed at all, and she took the time to capture lots of sweet moments. When we got the pictures back, we were blown away.
